What we are building
Traditional structure, modern clarity
Bazi is a traditional Chinese system that maps a birth moment into four stem-and-branch pillars—eight characters in total. We preserve that structure while making the calculation and vocabulary easier to inspect.
Optional interpretation
AI enters only when you request a deeper reading. Its role is to explain the calculated relationships in clear English.
Readable education
Our guides preserve the traditional terms, then explain what they mean without assuming prior knowledge of Bazi.

How a birth moment becomes a reading
The order matters. We finish the calendrical work before asking a language model to explain anything.

Start with the birth context
We validate the date, time, gender, and selected birthplace. If the birth time is unknown, the calculator uses a clearly marked three-pillar path instead of inventing an Hour Pillar.
STEP 02
Correct the clock to the sun
The engine resolves the birthplace timezone and longitude, then applies true solar time correction so the Hour Pillar reflects the local solar position rather than wall-clock time alone.
STEP 03
Build the chart by rule
Established calendar rules derive the Year, Month, Day, and Hour pillars, followed by the Five Elements, Day Master relationships, and Life Chapter calculations.
STEP 04
Explain only after calculation
For a requested deeper reading, the server recalculates the chart from the validated inputs before AI describes the resulting stems, branches, elements, and timing patterns.

This is an organization byline for the maintainers accountable for the page, not a claim that a named practitioner or external expert reviewed it. If a real individual reviewer is added later, their name, role, review scope, and date will be stated on the page.

BaziCalculator.ai Editorial Team is the shared role used by the project maintainers who are responsible for the calculation code and published English copy. It does not imply a named practitioner, licensed adviser, or outside-expert endorsement.

Calculation changes are checked with automated regression cases and reproducible examples. Guide copy is reviewed against the current engine and its cited sources before a substantive update date changes.
Why
So a result can be questioned
Separating calculation, tradition, modern explanation, and generated interpretation lets readers see what is reproducible, what is a convention, and where judgment begins.
Where AI participates
In the product, AI is used only after the server has rebuilt and validated the chart. It turns supplied chart evidence into a requested private interpretation; it does not choose the Four Pillars, rewrite deterministic values, or serve as a source for the public guides. Published guides are reviewed, versioned pages, not live model output.
Corrections and challenges
If a calculation, source, example, or translation appears wrong, email support@bazicalculator.ai. Include the page URL, the statement or output you observed, and the convention or source you believe applies. Please do not send full birth details unless they are necessary to reproduce the issue. Material corrections are tested and receive a substantive page-update date; we do not silently add a credential or expert review that did not happen.

Account, saved-chart, reading, and report questions are read and answered by a person at support@bazicalculator.ai. For an existing order record, include its reference. Please never send passwords or full birth details by email.
